XpertAR App Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies specifically to the XpertAR Android application ("App"), the companion viewer app used to scan QR codes and open AR links shared by Editors. The App is a lightweight viewer only — it does not have its own accounts, login, or upload features.

1. The App Does Not Collect Any Personal Information

• The App does not require sign-up, login, or any account creation.
• The App does not collect, store, or transmit your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, or any other personal data.
• The App does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

2. Camera Access

• The App requests camera access solely to scan QR codes and detect image targets so it can display the matching AR video overlay in real time.
• Camera frames are processed entirely on-device for real-time AR tracking. They are never recorded, stored, uploaded, or transmitted anywhere.
• You can revoke camera permission at any time from your device Settings; the App simply won't be able to scan or display AR content without it.

3. Internet Access

The App requires an active internet connection to fetch the AR target file (.mind) and the overlay video associated with the specific link or QR code you open. This content is created and hosted by Editors on the XpertAR web platform — the App only downloads what is needed to render that specific AR experience. No information about you is sent as part of this request beyond standard network request data (such as IP address) that is inherent to loading any web content.

4. Third-Party Content

AR content (images and videos) displayed through the App is created and managed by Editors on the XpertAR web platform. We are not responsible for the nature or accuracy of that content. If you encounter content through the App that you believe is inappropriate or violates our Terms & Conditions, please report it as described below.

5. Reporting Objectionable Content

To report AR content accessed via the App, email admin@xpertxyz.in with the link or QR code details and a description of the issue. We investigate reports and remove violating content within a reasonable timeframe.

6. Children's Privacy

Since the App does not collect any personal information, it does not knowingly collect data from children. Parents/guardians using the App with children should ensure any content viewed is age-appropriate.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
